    I just threw one away like that I had it under the tank it worked great till I left it on one night and something fried in it and know it will not come on it didnt last very long like a led is supposed to was not this exact one just one like it.

    If it's one that is made in China they can keep it. Their quality is awful.

    I was wondering the pro's and con's for Led lighting. I heard its not as good as T5s when it comes to par and stuff.... they are supposed to last longer but arent what your reef would need.
    Then I also heard of a guy here in Tampa that has nothing but digital LEDs on all of his tanks and he can dial in long. and lat. degrees of a specific country (Sydney Austrailia) and it would give you purple sunsets and everything... even simulating spuratic lightning storms. Supposedly his tanks are crazy from just running LEDs but the set-up alone was like 50k or more.
