    Perfect. Set aside $25 a week or $100 a month and you'll be able to afford whatever light you choose by the end of the summer.

    I have LEDs, fwiw. You may need 60 degree optics for your tank, which would then require a lot more diodes. There are pre-fab fixtures to choose from too. Just be careful, as some of them are poor quality.

    What about reefbreeders LED fixtures? Are the quality in these good? I'm game for building something but if I can get something pre-built that would be the better way to go.

    I have the value fixture. I like it. Two of those would work well.
