    Would I be able to keep a T.crocea clam under 6x39W ATI powermodule unit, the tank is a 56G.

    Bulb combination;

    D-D Actinic Plus Powerchrome
    D-D Aquablue plus Powerchrome (60:40 combination of 6000K and 22000K)
    Aqua Science Special 15,000k
    Korallen Zucht Fiji Purple
    Aqua Science Blue 15,000k
    D-D Actinic Pure Powerchrome

    I know croceas like a lot of light, how deep would people normally put the clam, I guess I would have to acclimatise on a small piece of live rock on the bottom of the tank and then more it closer to the top of the tank. Any ideas and help would be great, thanks.

    That should be fine. Move him around until he/she likes it. That would probably be pretty high in the tank. It's hard to give them too much light.

    http://www.rimlessreef.com/photo-gallery.html- great t5 only tank w/ clams and other light lovers

    BTW how do you like that lighting combo? How is the KZ fiji p.?

    Hi 32 Boom, thanks for your prompt reply.

    I can't get that website to work properly, looks like the owner needs to republish it or something.

    I don't actually have the powermodule yet, it will be an upcoming purchase, I know it wil be good enough for SPS but unsure of T.crocea. From what I've read T.crocea are best kept under metal halide?

    I'm currently running 4X24w T5s with LEDs. The bulbs I am currently running are;

    Arcadia actinic
    Arcadia 14000k
    D-D aquablue plus
    Arcadia actinic

    Plus a multitude of LEDs <10000k and blue LEDs. I've just got softies which will be moved to a second smaller tank with just the 4 current T5s.

    The DT will have the powermodule, upgraded powerheads; two hydor koralia3 or hydor korilla4 connected to an ocean pulse duo wave maker.

    The ATI powermodule has arguably the best reflectors out there. You should be more than fine. I would have the clam attach to a small rock then you can move it around. I have my crocea under 4x54W T5s and it did fine, although it has colored up much better since I upgraded my lights.

    You won't have any issue with a crocea under that much t5ho.

    I have had the same crocea under pcs for a year now. Lighting is not a huge factor if you feed a clam regularly.
