    I have a generic 8x54 retrofit kit I bought from ebay. The first 2 pictures are the generic 4 x 420mn Blue Actinics and 4 x 10000K daylights. The second 2 pictures is of my current combination. From front to rear:
    ATI Blue Plus 450mn
    GE 6500K
    UVL 75/25 14K
    ATI Blue Plus
    UVL Aquasun 10K pink
    ATI Blue Plus
    ATI Aquablue 12K
    ATI Blue Plus
    You can plainly see the difference. This combo was designed by a guy who goes by the name of grim reefer on the reef central website. The guy is good. I just ordered an 8x24W T5 retrofit and I ordered the exact bulb combo for it. I'm moving up to a 210 gal tank.

    These are the bulbs that my supplier carries, what combination of these 4 would be best for growing corals? I like a bit of a bluish tint...

    48" Powerchrome T5 Fluorescent Bulb - Aquaflora
    48" Powerchrome T5 Fluorescent Bulb - AquaBlue +
    48" Powerchrome T5 Fluorescent Bulb - Actinic +
    48" Powerchrome T5 Fluorescent Bulb - Pure Actinic

    These are all Giesemann T5 HO Bulbs
