    I agree that the tek is a nice fixture but other companies are starting to catch up with the individual reflector concept so just like the asm skimmers became over priced due to the octopus making the same thing alot cheaper, other companies are doing this with t5's

    I agree with other companies catching up, and at a lower price, but you cant beat the quality of a TEK, they run cool without fans! high quality in individual reflectors, and best of all they are slim light and add an awesome look by hanging them over the tank.

    you are right and preaching to the choir but I don't think you can get a tek 6 bulb fixture for the price that you can get the nova even after swapping the nova's bulbs. I also really do like the fan idea.
