switching from LED to t5! FINALLY!

    well i removed the led tube's. they werent doing much just for looks, and added another 2 24w t5 =) wooo! six bulb fixture!

    I would be careful doing that... I'm pretty sure you will find worse results from that much light. Unless you are using 1-2 of the 420nm bulbs..

    John removed two bulbs back to 4 on his 75 gallon. Watch your corals carefully.

    yes. im planning to hang the fixture higher so it reduces less heat to the tank

    Grim is right on this unless you are using pure actinic for the 2 new bulbs you will want to move your fixture to 30"+ above the bottom of the tank or risk light inhibiting your corals IME. You will still want to move it up even with the actinics.

    do i have to put it 30+" then lower it to acclimate? or is 30" minimum ?
