It is a dry heat, yeah right !
That is a really big difference.

Still looks like a nice sleek, sharp, and clean looking tank, very very nice.

yep! if i ever go back to leds it will most likely be a t5 hybrid and very little leds. im thinking about getting the ati 6 bulb combo, but im moving in 2 weeks. i hope i dont loose anything!

Are you really comparing an individually reflected 24" 4 bulb t5 with ATI bulbs AND 2 led strips to a single ai nano fixture and surprised that double+ the par is better for your sps?

These threads always kill me... This isn't an LED to T5 comparison.. this is an upgrade in light comparison. You have more than double the fixture than you used to.

Huh? Is it a reef-capable LED or isn't it?

its hard to tell from the pics or maybe its this monitor but im not seeing much difference in color on your corals from the ai to the t5s....i do see one difference, the addition of the mp10 and another powerhead.

    Regardless its a nice tank.

It's not a comparison for that t5... at all.. In fact an AI SOL wouldn't even be an apples to apples comparison to a 4 bulb individually reflected t5ho with ati bulbs and 2 led strips... an AI nano is definitely "reef capable" but "reef capable" doesn't mean anything at all.

It's great for 12 gallon nano reefs... but it's a small compact light for small compact tanks. There are 10 leds in that fixture... The best leds around, granted... but still no where near a comparison for 96" of ATI bulbs and 2 led strips...

from the first pics and the second, you cant see the deeper color on the red planet, and the red millie?.

ofc there is a difference between 12 and a 18g nano reef. but from the bottom to the surface is the same as a 12g standard tank.
