    Hey guys

    I just ordered a AC 20 for my ten g FW tank. Since its all new media, should I expect somewhat of a mini cycle?

    If you remove some of the media from the old filter and put it in the new filter
    that will certainly help to mature it faster and hopefully avoid any parameter spikes

    Aqua clears are definitely my favorite HOB. And a AC 20 will be perfect for a 10g. I love how you can place whatever media in the basket you wish. Pull the carbon and replace with chemi pure or pull the carbon and run extra bio media and so on. Hows about a pic of the tank?
