I will do it in October, thats when the Odyssea MH bulbs are due to be changed out. Whenever I buy Odyssea bulbs, I change them out every 6 months.

Sorry to threadjack, but are there any issues with running the bulbs under powered? Shortening bulb life? Obviously the output spectrum is off. Anything else?

Well, today I changed out the Odyssea MH bulbs(20K) and installed the Reeflux bulbs(12K). I dont know if the color spectrum will change after the 100 hr mark, but I dont see such a diifference(as far as visual)................yet. I guess maybe my expectations where really high from reading all the reviews or maybe the SE is better than the DE........I dont know. As far as being a "full" spectrum bulb, time will also tell. My corals will let me know too. As it stands right now, I think that I should have gotton the 20k instead of the 12k.
I also changed out the stock PC ballast and installed a new ARO ballast, so lets see what happens with that too.

Well, I guess I'll have to eat some of my words b/c these bulbs bring out the colors in my corals and fish fantastically. Im reconsidering the thought of the 20k bulbs, I'm starting to like the 12k's.

Got any pics? I think the 12ks are perfect and thats what I'll be going to next year when time comes to change. The 10k's are almost a crisp white w/ a tab bit of blue and makes my fish look great but could use a bit more blue like you have in the 12k for the coral. Did you see the spectrum charts on the reeflux page?

    Heres the 10k http://www.coralvue.com/images/RL 400w10k graph.jpg
