    it was love at first sight with this one.

    sold to me as a blasto but kinda looks like a fancy shroom.

    Any input would be appreciated(karma)

    kind of look like acanthastrea.......especially with the ruffled adges and the fact that blastos are always red or pink if im correct ;)

    The shape of the coral itself is similar to these, but colors in acans can vary very widely.

    I dont think those are Acan's. More like Blassto's, maybe a yuma or even a shroom. Luna

    Its hard to tell cause they are all closed up at the moment. Ive never seen blasto's that far apart though.

    i have to agree with geek. i normally see blastos closer together.

    so if not an acan and possibly not a blasto... what the heck is this thing?

    none the less its SWEEEET!!!

    i have a small hitchhiker acan and the way i remember to identify them is by the ring around the outside with parts of it coming towards the center.......
