I guess it'd depend on your budget and if ya wanna a DIY! But i'd say ya could do a DIY with a long heatsink for pretty close to what a good set of T5's are gonna cost! And then you don't have to drop $200 a year in lights and worry about them going bad and causing an algae issue! plus ya get the show off factor! IMO! But there are leds strips that will cover about the same! The panorama pro's seem good, most seem to like the AI sols, which you'd need 2 but most seem to think are the most versatile!

The tanks back is being painted an drilled, will be delivered when done. I am going to use an Eshopps RS-300 Sump. It's nice an big an won't limit the Protein Skimmer that I can use.

First coat of stain on, will put the second one on tomorrow. Got two cupboard doors to cover up the two openings on the front. Sump should be here in a few days.

Looking great. The 2nd coat will probably darken it up quite a bit.

Should get my tank back in the next few days. Went to Rona/HD an got some plumbing pieces an pvc cleaner and cement. Got my Eheim 1262(my return pump), Gate Valves. My SRO Protein Skimmer will be here shortly.
Will the 1262 Eheim be a big enough return pump ?
Looking at getting a GFO reactor, either a Phosban 550 or Precision Marine. What size pump do you need with a reactor of this size ?

Will 2x Korelia Magnum 5's be enough for my 110G tank ?

What about heaters, how many an what size(watts) ?
