    I don't think anybody is arguing with you on that point at the moment. I put a little glass cup in the aquarium and put this anemone in that cup for the time being while I figure out what species it is. It would be still be great to find out exactly what this species is and what its characteristics are. I do have a few observations of my own.

    A: It does not seem to affect nearby coral.
    B: It will detach itself, then attach to a new location
    C: It does react when stimulated, the tentacles do not immediately retract but the body does.
    D: Its tentacles are brown with lighter bands. The base or mouth area is a combination of yellow and tan.
    E: So far, apparently, it has not reproduced.

    mcfarrow, a google of frilly anemone produces pictures of anemone that look similar to what I have but are much larger. On one had they look different but at the same time they could be the same species in at a different age.
