What do you think of the color of the is Superman Monti. It is Maricultured from Divers Den. The polyps are not a true red but I am not sure if they will turn more red. It is 3 inches long.

yes, i would. alot of the corals color has to do with the type of lighting theyre under. even differs between brands of bulbs.
besides i have a feeling that the pic was taken under actinics mainly.

+1. It seems like a lot of coral photos are taken under heavily actinic light. I guess because corals seem to glow under actinics IMO.

If the coral does have red poyps then under actinics they would like more purple like in the pic.

that's a nice looking piece. It's superman alright. They take their pics under 20K lights (horrible for growth but make the colors pop). I would say go for it.

I want it too look more red. On their site it only mentions 20,000k lights but not actinics. I will call them tomorrow. I have seen on some other sites where the polyps are very red but the piece is usually smaller
