I don't worry about it that much. I would pay $20 to avoid having to bust out the drill alone. Slap it on and toss in the tank, grab a beer and relax.

Note, I remove all frags I get from their plugs and glue directly to a rock.

    same here....

OP i use super glue gel and get mine from home depot. they have a two pack for a $1.79. .07 oz each tube. Not bad of a deal and you dont have to mess with the runny stuff.

We use IC-Gel and will never switch back to other glues. This stuff is thick, works really well and comes in large tubes. Opening those small tubes of regular gel for 2 or 3 frags each got to be hassle.

I ran the numbers before switching to see how the price compared to the $1-$2 off brands and the IC-Gel worked out cheaper.

Off brand gel is 0.07 ounce at $1 per tube comes out to $0.50 per gram. IC-Gel is 20gram at $6 per tube comes out to $0.30 per gram. If you can't find it locally, add in shipping cost but also add in sales tax for off brand wally-world gel.

PS keeping super glue in the fridge seems to make it even thicker.
