Super Bad Bubble Algae outbreak

    Wow, from reading the original post it seems that this guy has cyano, not bubble algae. No bubble algae outbreak happens that fast. Just a case of overfeeding and high nutrients. I would suggest lights off for three days along with an aggressive dose of GFO. Or you can dose cyano treatment chemicals that are usually antibiotics that will undoubtedly kill good bacteria as well. Good luck.

    if it really is bubble algae,, emerald crabs for maintenance, and carefully siphoning out the bubbles usually does the trick

    Given the fast time-line, cyano is my suspicion as well. A picture would help make sure you're going down the right path.
