    I meant that you might be able to stick a piece of wood inside of the "U" on the fixture that wraps around the lip of the tank in order to raise the entire fixture up out of the water. None of this tilting or mounting the fixture to a piece of wood. I'm not really sure if there is even enough room on the "U" part of the mounting arm to do this though.
