    I have a DIY fixture with CREEs that I just built for less than $200 for a 36"...and some of that 200 was parts to add T5HOs onto it. DIY can be done a lot cheaper than most fixtures coming out now due to the technology being so new. Give it a couple of years, and it'll be down to MH/T5 combo prices.

    The price of the Sunbrite fixture is reasonable to me. The price of the Tubes is what seems to be very high.
