    Whats a good bulb I can pick up at home depot or lowes to put over my chaeto? I got one last year but my chaeto isnt going as fast and im getting the red slime algae anyplace that light shines on.

    6500 k is good. Red slime in the sump isn't horrible. Accomplishes the same goal as chaeto.

    Yeah I dont mind it where the chaeto is but it shines into the return pump area and gets all over it and the float
