    The sails will go over or through the holes and any loose chateo or other type of algae will initially get caught but eventually push through as well -I speak from recent first hand experience :p

    Funny, that's the first thing I thought when I saw the pics. You can't contain them, only hope to slow them down. I've had them crawl right up my Remora skimmer and into the water outlet area. Boy, what a lot of noise the water makes running over a snail. Thought I had sprung a major leak.

    I have a floating thermometer/hydrometer(SpG) that free floats in the tank and somehow one managed to reach it for cleaning :jester:
