During fall, winter and spring I keep my tank at a pretty constant 78 degrees...thru summer I let it get up to 82/83 degrees before the AC kicks on.

As salinity rises with temperature, seems prudent to reduce it now before the tank starts heating up, It is 1.025 now at 78 degrees...so maybe I will drop it down to 1.020 in anticipation of higher tank temps in near future.

    Make sense

It makes sense, but I don't think you have to go as low as 1.020 for a 5 degree temperature difference. I remember seeing a table of salinity vs. temperature, but I didn't bookmark the page.

My gut feeling, however, is that 1.022-1.023 will be the same at 82F as 1.025 is at 78F.
