    Well my store did tell me it was reef safe and they know what I have. This isn't the first time they misinformed me either! I like grassroot mom and pop stores but have to stop trusting what they tell me is safe and do some more research myself. As if I don't read enough about this stuff!

    One place I bought from sent me a cone snail!! I don't know if you know about them, but just google it :)

    I agree, it is hard not to listen to the stores... but I've gotten to where I ask them questions I already know the answers to just to test them sometimes...

    When purchasing livestock, it is always best to research first. But that can be very difficult when people, including the stores (intentionally or not) don't have the correct names for the animal they are selling...

    In a case where you can't positively identify the animal you're purchasing, it's probably best to walk away...
