build a stand for it out of pvc pipe and 90 degree elbows you probably have enough scrap layin around to do it, 2" pvc makes great framework for stuff like that

I have lots and lots of extra lying around. I keep finding uses for it, so I keep a supply. I'll try it.

Well the leak popped up again. So, with Tangster's advise, I smeared a bunch of silicone on the top rim and let it dry. Did good that time. Thanks Tangster once again. I was ready to buy a new tank. $200 saved.

So that's three days of working on this tank off and on. Tomorrow will be a tinkering day. Nothing that needs to be fixed. Meeeelllllloooooowwwww. Let's hope so.

    Rock on.......John.

Yup, the leak sprang up (for a third time) after the post before this so I siliconed the %$#$ out of the upper left hand corner and prayed. So far it is holding nicely. Looks like I won this bout. So this will be my meeeellllllooooowwww day. Except for the leak under the sink. I may have to replace more than the flex pipe from the source to the faucet.

But as long as the tank is secure, I am happy.
