biggest piece of junk you can ever waste your money on.

I still think you should stick with the aqualife and place it in your tank. The one you are looking at doesnt skim, overflows very quickly...I used mine for 3 weeks before I tossed it in the trash

NO dont buy those they are horrible and dont work at all invest in a good skimmer and it will last you many years to come. i would say a good skimmer is one of the most valuble part in a good system

Get an AquaticLife 115, they work great. The one you are looking at is a complete waste of time and space. They create a TON of microbubbles and don't produce any skimmate.

Also look at the following three HOB models

    AquaC Remora Pro
    Octopus BH-300F

They are overkill for your tank, but not so overkill that it would be detrimental.

Beware the cheap skimmer. They suck.

I ran one on my 40 gallon for a year and loved it. If I had a smaller system I would buy one again ;) But I would look into the BH-100F (the model I had). Has an extra filter chamber that can also serve as a mechanical filter for things like carbon and LR rubble. I even kept my grounding probe in it.
