Strictly Reef

Stopped by oasis water gardens today. They bought out the other store next to them and are opening a Salt water only fish store. He has three big coral tanks and quite a few fish tanks. The grand opening is this coming Friday. He is getting more stock in daily. Looks to be a very nice store. So come on Reno lets support them.

 

Have you been in lately P? Stopped by before their opening, seems like alot of overhead cost. How are the prices on corals?

 

I was there last weekend but did not ask for prices. Nothing is posted from what I saw. Looks like they will take good care of the fish and corals for now.

 

Went in yesterday and they have some prices posted but not too consistent. Frag tank well stocked and had a decent selection of fish.

 

Thanks for the update 2. I'll have to go check it out, i'd love to see someone actually care for their livestock and thrive in Reno....

 

Agreed, we haven't had one for about 4 to 5 years now since Larry sold Ofishal.

 

Went by Oasis looking for Strictly Reef and they are not there anymore, but there is a banner on the side that says "Coming Soon Ofishal" Is this the original Ofishal? Wood be nice to seem them come back. Stricty Reef now over off Longley Ln.

 

Strictly reef has moved

Strictly is now over on Longley Lane in Reno, and got some new suppliers. Steve's place just gets better and better. He has show piece coral at the small coral price. You have to drive to California to get the same size and quality coral. He just got in a shipment Monday so has a lot in right now.

Ofishal sold their name from what I heard, so it is not the same Ofishal. I believe Oasis now controls the name, after it changed hands a few times. Ron with Aquatic Display held the name for a time from what I understand. That is the scuttlebutt anyway ;D.
