    Hey,

Was wondering if anyone has any advice about arulius barbs?

I bought some plants for my guppy tank a few months ago, and I have noticed 2 random fish in the tank which I'm guessing stowed away as eggs on the plants I bought.

Its the only way I can think that they managed to get into the tank which is 100% guppies except for these two random fish...I went back to this store and they look exactly like arulius barbs.

Are they aggressive? should I get rid of them?

I don't want any of my guppies killed  any advice would be appreciated..

barbs tend to be aggressive. but unless they are pyscho i don't think you have to worry about any of the guppies, but the babies, if you have many guppies in the tank

edit: they are fin nippers though so i would be prepared in case you must catch them in the future.

i have 4 tanks already, i think there might be an intervention if i get any more :)

i really dont have a place for any aggressive or semi-aggressive fish, its a shame though because i have fallen for them a bit, cute little random fish!

i usually sell my guppies, or coax my friends into getting tanks so i can give them away ;D also have a lot of room in the 180g so i havent really been overstocked (yet!!)
