i have the R2 SOLUTIONS MOONLIGHT 11000 MC and i finally got the clamps to somewhat stay on the light fixture itself since i bought foam mounting squares, but one side still falls down and when the clamps stay the light itself is constantly falling this is getting really aggrivating, i dont know why it cant just stay and not give me any issues like its been doing, when it stays it works great, but im constantly fighting with it.

kacy how did you get yours to stay so easily

I screwed my clips down. Never had a problem with the light falling out of the clips.

Make sure they are on a flat surface. The first time I adhered my brackets on to a not flat surface....how to explain...on the slanted back part of the light fixture, I had put the brackets half on the slanted part and half on the round edge...they promptly fell off. So then I made sure the entire bracket is placed flatly on the slanted back part of the light fixture, and I pressed them down really hard to make sure they were well stuck on. Does that makes sense?? Lol it's hard to explain....

Velcro is another great idea. Make sure it's strong velcro, and it should hold the light fine.

But yeah, make sure the sticky part is totally flat and press it down really firmly. Let it chill for awhile before putting the bulb in. Also, if the brackets aren't spaced exactly right, one side of the bulb can fall down. It's an exact science, really! lol

It should. I used to do cosmetic mods on computer cases back in the day, and used velco stickers to hold ccfls in place all the time.
