OK. Cool. What do you think of Seachem Flourite? Is does not decompose and is supposed to have nutrients for plants, making dosing less necessary...is it good, or a gimmick like "live" sand for SW tanks?

Is that where you order plants from, 2 in 10?

For the strand, I will either reface the stand i had for my 29g, or we will build a new one.

What about a background color? I want to keep it neutral. I think black is too dark. Would white look good?

plus 2 others i dont know the names of. but i'll post pics.

just in case you want to know, here are the fish i have.
    3 neon tetras,
    3 black neon tetras,
    3 cardinal tetras,
    3 glow-light tetras,
    3 white cloud tetras,
    1 dwarf gourami,
    1 pea puffer,
    2 otocinclus,
    2 albino cory catfish,
    And a few ghost shrimp.
I know it sounds like a lot, but if you where able to see the tank in person, it wouldn’t look like too much.

Here is the thing, most plants maybe 99% do not co2 injection.

however HC will need Co2 injection. It mainly needs it going from the emmersed growth to the submersed growth. Most people do this, grow it out emmersed in the tank then submerse it and crank up the CO2 to a absurd rate while it transitions over. Remember that much CO2 will kill fish.

How would one emerse a plant in a tank? Just don't add water until it(H. c.) has grown out?
