Starfish getting mangled ?

    I have 29 gallon biocube with some hermit crabs and snails. No fish. ( had a puffer but got rid of him ). My starfish looks like its being eaten...maybe the crabs ?? [​IMG][​IMG]

    I don't think you can have enough live rock in a 29 to keep a Blue Linkia alive?

    It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    Your Linckia is dying, they need large established tanks with a lot of room to graze, and excellent water quality. Sorry but I do not see any hope for the starfish, once they start to disintegrate there really is no intervention.

    +1 to both. Unfortunately, most sea stars are predators with a specialized diet that we cannot realistically supply. The ones that do scavenge require large tanks and/or frequent target feedings.
