Stand Height and Stability?

    We always use 36" stands...never had any problems.

    Anchor it if there are any questions about stability. Do you know how many splattered kids I've looked after working in the PICU from falling furniture. 55g isn't like a top heavy nano. They'll have no where to move in time with a 48" wall coming down and them standing in the middle. I assume we are talking about standard terms and 12" is indeed depth.

    If you build an ox of a stand, it won't be an issue. But if you have to ask, it's too thin.

    +1 K for all you helpers in this thread. Thanks for the responses.

    I will definitely use an anchor bolt for this stand. It will be sitting on carpet and I am just not to sure of the stability considering the 12" depth. Better safe than sorry, :).
