    I don't like pendants like that causeI dont think they spread light as well personally. Also what is this powerhead for ... if it is for in the tank it is way too big

    would a 800 or 900 gph be to big for my tank. how about 725 gph.

    Still too much current being forced from one area. Get 2 MaxiJet 1200's instead

    so even 700 gph is too much. how about for sps

    In my opnion that is too much current focused in one location. Get more smaller powerheads so you have current moving in differnt locations which in turn creates more crosscurrents and indirect current which is what you want.

    so like 2 300 gph pumps. i have a 625 gph pump for my return on my refuge.

    if i got 2 1200 maxi jets how would i protect my snails from getting stuck on the intake.

    well you mean the strainer. my snail gets sucked to the strainer and dies.

    Haven't heard of that HL. My snails have never gotten stuck to my MJ strainers.
