sps,lps and soft coral compatibility?

    What lighting have you got
    and are you placing these new corals low down and then once they are used to the lighting raising them

    I have had very positive experiences doing it the above way, increasing the height of the coral over time in relation to the lights

    I do sand bed for a couple of days , then move up to middle and by the end of the 1st week, have them where I want them

    I lost my very 1st SPS x 2 simply because not knowing I placed them high on my reef and they bleached within a few weeks

    might not be light related , but if the chemisty checks out , then it could be ?

    Steve-I have a 250 w 72 inch aQualight with cf in it. I do the same as you starting the frags at the bottom.

    The top one had full color when I took it out of the bag.The bottom one was pretty white when I took it out.

    Your top coral looks better than mine, I have about 10% of the flesh left on it.

    Hopefully both of ours make it. Best of luck

    It probably would have more if my coral bueaty would leave it alone

    Yeah I know what you mean I have a chromis that was going after mine.
