    if you instal the pH probe in the first chamber consider the second obsolete. the 2nd would just be there to raise the pH by using the left over CO2.

    Scott, Ya I've done the same thing you did. just let the tank come back on it's own. Most media;s are are a good 'melting point' at just under 7.0 Ph.

    part of the reason I'm installing my prob right in my reactor is to control the 'melting point' no sense wasting CO2.

    it goes both ways if the reactor isnt adjusted to add enough you end up dosing to add if the reactor is to much just take off line and let the tank come down by itself. the trick is when to kick the reactor back on.

    So RG you run nelson reactor and CA reactor. How important do you feel both are?

    if i take either one off line the levels will drop overnight, so both are very important

    to help out on the line not clogging i bumped upto 3/8 line instead of the 1/4, its an easy do. also alows more flow
