i was just curious, for those with sps tanks using a Ca reactor and a CaOH2 reactor on aatoc do you use saturated or supersaturated CaOH2?

    my tank uses supersaturated CaOH2

I turn the ATO off for about 2 hours and mix for one then let it settle for the other before I turn it back on.

So you just keep mixing all day long as it is entering the tank???

I use Mrs Wages and have a lot of particles in the bottom of the reactor that I worry about getting back to the display tank. That is why I let it settle out for 1 hour before I turn the ATO back on.

It is doing the job right now but as the tank grows in the next couple of years I may have to change the ingredents I am using.
