    that monti looks sweet, and same with the clam. thanks for your help, out of curiosity, what happened with that tank?

    Took it down and put up a 20 high... Then a 2.5, then a 37 column, then my current 30 long.. It's a vicious cycle with me. Here's my 20 high..

    your high inspires me :p i have a 45 high and i just dont like it but your 20 is giving me ideas haha what lighting on the 20?

    Only a 150w mh viper.. My 20 was by far my favorite tank ever. I took it down so I could get this guy..

    You can keep anything with PCs if you have enough of them. They do put out light, just not much light per watt. I had clams, and acros growing well under PCs a number of years back. Of course that was 260W of PC light on at 20G tank. I replaced it with 96 W of T-5 and I think the T-5s were brighter.

    I agree the T5HO are much brighter. I just replaced my 260W PC with 216W T5HO on my planted tank and am seeing color difference after 2 days.

    it has been said before but I agree on montipora. Mostly any color of montipora capricornus... also digitata (not purple though, that one will grow just fine but requires high light to be the bright purple).

    Wow thats an epic scape, something I'd like to do. Where'd you get the LR? I'd think LFS; my LFS's live rock is just so bad lol. Would be interesting to keep a variety of SPS on that.
