The grocery store is Save Mart...but the teas & health/energy bars @ Tjs are usually cheaper...I guess because they do more volume...and a few other items are cheaper or the same price...

    Spot's Tankmates

Here is a shot of Draco the Dragon/Violet Goby...this is the biggest of Spot's tankmates and the most gentle.

No one messes with him not even Red, though they do steal his food since he's virtually blind.
He can grow up to 14" in the first 2 yrs and eventually up to 2 feet long!

Yeah is why I didn't get too mad at spot for probably eating one of the Bumblebees (they were hard to find too).

    Thanks is a cool fish.
The dragon Goby MUST have brackish water....the other fish just have to deal...I keep it low brackish so they all can.

Actually Diablo (blackskirt tetra) and Barb (the Rosey Barb) were used to higher SG since dummy me didn't think about the fact that when water evaporates the salt stays (is how they made salt for hundreds of yrs), so I kept adding salt to their water when I topped off (they are now 4&3 yrs old respectively)....poor things.

haha their just so hard to get mad at

those dragon gobys are deffiently cool, never seen one before

lol i did the same as you when i first started up my tank, i would always topp off with SW not knowing salt doesnt evaporate as well, thankfully it was still cycling so it was an easy fix

lol those are hardy little fish, glad they've adjusted well to the brackish levels

I think he got another bumblebee too:cry:...can't see it I guess I didn't feed him quickly enough when I fed the tank so he found his own food.
He's scared a bit of all the fish his size or bigger...but he may be giong into the nano sooner than I was planning , God help the poor blue leg hermits.

Funny you did the same thing...yup very hardy fish...the 10gal they were in was hard to keep @ my apt anyway I'd get all full of algae quick n such and the filter was underpowered...plus the mean tetra killed off all other fish (except Barb) that I tried to put w/him. Red has put him in his place ;D but he's still mean to Angel and Spot.
