I have a very nice RBTA, it's been in my tank for a few months.... It is in great health, nice color and opens up big everyday.... It never truly deflates... Maybe once or twice in the past few months.... But the top "disk" has been creasing for a few days now.... Is this a sign of it starting to split? I always though that it splits from the foot first.... It is right in line with its mouth but it's only creasing on one side?

Hard to say. If it does then cool, you have two. When they do split, they look terrible for a few days so just an FYI. I advise against feeding.

For how long..... I only feed this one once a week, and not to much.... I only feed due to its size as I know the lion share of its energy is from photosynthesis.

Yea, I have read a few of your posts saying that.... I don't feed my carpet, but my bubble tip I feed very small amounts.... I never see my clown feed it? Actually in the beginning it took food from it.... Now it lets it eat but never feeds it, ever.
