Don't forget to bring your water samples to have them tested for phosphate by Steve Garrett.

It's always great to hear from one of the great SPS keepers in the area. Drew was one of the first to keep sps successfully in the US. His 10 ft long SPS tank was awesome!

    thepanfish,
Thanks for reporting. It looks like the Bulgarian spammers really love this thread. This is the second time it has been spammed.

for those that did not make it to the meeting. Drew did a great presentation about tearing down a two story house around a tank and then building a 3 story house around it all beause he got his wife pregnant and she wanted a bigger house. Every foreseeable problem was planed for. The problem, anything that could have gone wrong did go wrong plus a host of things that you would have never expected. I strongly recommend this speaker to any club!!!

Bulgarian Spammers eh? Hopefully they get their account revoked, it doesn't seem like they have a reef tank:p
We had Sanjay Joshi come to our club to talk about every single problem you could possibly imagine. For example, he had labeled all of his cords on the tank so when it was overflowing and he was away the wife was able to shut off the pump. Turns out that the labels had worn out from the salt after a year...Hey, something WILL go wrong at the worst possible time. That is why you never touch your tank 3 days before leaving on vacation.
