This has been spreading. It has yet to leave this rock. It clearly originated with the hammerhead frag.

It is growing out in strands with several of these, I don't know, "spikes" sticking out of it...

I am slightly concerned it will bother my coral, but my hammer doesn't care at all about it...

Also concerned of it taking over.

    Thoughts?

Looks like a sponge to me, as long as its not bothering anything leave it be they are awsome filter feeds and help keep the water cyrstal clear.

I have a bunch of those on my live rock I bought today and the guy at my local fish store told me they are just sponges (I was worried about them too). They are cool!
