Thought I would share some pics of some of the different macros I have.... I'm caving in to the "Pics or it didn't happen" challenge. I started using macros heavily in seahorse tanks over 10 years ago. I really like the look of it and it really helps with water quality. My fish are a dirty bunch and I could use all the help I can get having as many tanks as I do. One of my favourites is the Galaxy (galuxauro rugosa). From Reefcleaners.org I haven't been able to successfully share this with anyone. I move it to any of my other tanks, and it dies. People takes pieces of it... and it dies. Now I don't even touch it. When I move soon, I may try some more frags. Fire Moss (Laurencia poitei) From ReefCleaners.org Red Grape (Botryocladia) From Reefcleaners.org. Caterpillar Macro (Neomeris annularia) I like this stuff.... and so does my turbo snails. Feather Caulerpa (Caulerpa taxifolia) This stuff in invasive and illegal in some areas. It's illegal to ship it across state lines anywhere. So this stuff I never share and freeze for 24 hours before disposing of it. Lettuce macro (Ulva) Not a great macro pic, but I think he's so cute in this. I don't think I took any pics of just the Ulva. Codium... again... not a good algae pic. But there it is. Grape Caulerpa (Caulerpa racemosa) Another invasive and illegal caulerpa in some states. Gotta go find some more pics of the rest to put on photobucket.
