Some algae on frag plugs i bought?

    What should i do if there is some algae on the frags on plugs that i purchased? I dont want the algae spreading to my rocks. Should i re - frag them?

    If it's just on the plugs get a toothbrush and give them a scrub.;)

    Alot of people wont put plugs in their tank due to hitchhikers. Alot of reefer remove the frag and reglue it to a fresh one.

    Truth. 95% of hitchhikers aren't on the coral itself...

    how would one do this without damaging the sps frag? I am already super apprehensive to touch or move them cause i think i will make them mad

    well its kind of a trade of. If they are encrusting on the plug you will lose some coral, but you take you bone cutters or toenail clippers and snip them off then glue to a fresh plug with LocLite Gel Super glue.
