    My snails keep dying! Stupid hermits. I have shells in the tank even.

    Most of the capsules will be dormant and never hatch. I'm talking over 90% of them. I got excited too because I'm always looking for a way to make an extra buck to recoup some of the cost of this hobby. Out of the 100's of capsules in my tank I've seen maybe 6 baby nerites. Now ceriths on the other hand I have literally 100's of baby ceriths in my system.

    I have tons of those in my tank too. I thought they were snail eggs, but they never hatch? Anyways, they are all over the place.

    i agree with the nerite snail eggs.. i have them for the thousands as well..
    all over the rocks, glass, powerheads, sump. ;)

    well I guess its mating season for these snails for everyone's tank to get them right around now.. must be something in the water.. no pun intended. lol
