Buy Crocea Clams / Ultra Grade Online | Vivid Aquariums
No store close to me carries clams so i think i'm going to be stuck with ordering one online..i really like these green ones though..i've never seen one like that! and i trust vividaquariums..i've ordered from them a few times and they've always had excellent customer service..and these are hand picked so i think i should be okay
thats what ive got ivan , a crocea. the same blue\green. ive got on some flat lr on the bottom , with a return close by and its mantle gets wafted. so lots of nutrients for it to gather in. its done really well. good luck with it all.
+K for researching first.
I also have had only good experiences with vividaquarium. Though no clam experience here
Well i got one on the way..along with a few sps frags! the only thing about vivid is that you have to schedule a shipping day..i wish i could just tell them i want it now! lol oh well..i'll be sure to post pics when it all gets here
thanks again for everyone's advice!
When you get it, look for pyramid snails that may be there before you place him in your tank. You will see them around the mantle if they are present. If you have them, pluck them off and keep them out of the water, do not let them get into your tank.
too late lol i just put it in about 40 minutes ago..i just looked and can't see anything..but if there are any..i have a wrasse that supposedly loves them..i'll get a picture of it up here in a little while
Seriously, pictures are demanded lest the photo police be called
workin on it!
I was a tiny bit disappointed..the pictures online were all green..but I'm still pretty happy with blue! It seems healthy from what i can tell..it opened up with a couple minutes of putting it in
