    with something like this, id err on the side of caution. and i like pharmr's suggestion. go bigger !!! lol.

    Since it's just a 29, I'd replace it because you seem to be worried and replacing it would take the worry off of you and then you could enjoy your tank...:)

    Well, I decided to get a new tank so I don't go insane (although it may be too late for that). I stayed with the same size since going bigger would require too much $ to upgrade everything. It took 6 pet stores in 4 different towns to find the right size and one that wasn't already cracked/damaged or poorly constructed. Thanks again for all the responses, I'm sure I will be posting again in the future as I will definitely have more questions.
