Thanks guys not bad for $50, I think. Oh, and I glued the Hammer & Duncan to small pieces of rock.

 

Well it's official I'm halfway through building the stand for the 72 bowfront so the 46 will be decomissioned (LOL).
I'll keep it for curing rock and as a holding tank for water change water and for housing new fish.....or who knows maybe it'll eventually be a seahorse tank.
I have 2 new fish, engineer gobies named Thing1 & Thing 2. My rockwork will be secured by drilling them and threaded onto a carbon rod attached to a largiish 1/4" thick piece of acrylic.

 

Well it's another year and my fishies are finally getting upgraded digs.
The current residents are Spike (yellow tail damsel), Marlin (clownfish), Bishop (Banghaii Cardinal), Angel ( Bicolor Angelfish), Thing 1 & Thing 2 (9" long engineer gobies) & Richie (Saddle Valentini puffer, who's been munching on all my micro brittle stars).

 

I'll be finishing the top of of the new stand (for the 72 bowfront)this week, for now the poor fishies are in the new tank's 40 breeder sump. So I'll be selling the 46 tank, stand, hood & sump.... not sure for how much though (gotta do a bit of craigslist research).

When it sells I'll be getting an Vortech MPw40 the new quieter one. Also plan on getting new lights.

So as one chapter closes a new & bigger one opens... yeah am already waxing a bit nostalgic for my little 46
