I keep having the same problem, I found it quite easy to get the small splice to attach to a frag, but now that it's on the there, I can't seem to glue it to a larger rock, so everything keeps knocking it over. But it doesn't seem to be bothered by the commotion, I just pick him back up and in 15 or so minutes it's back out fully stretched again. Maybe I should just leave it lain over on it's side so it'll grab the big rock and finally attach......

Strange, I got tired of seeing the frag knocked over, and decided to superglue the rock to the larger rock. Turning the frag over and exposing the underside to air, keeping the coral under water, I dried it off and applied glue, and for all I tried, it wouldn't stick underwater like I've read in posts for fragging. So, I simply wedged the frag into the rocks like I've normally done, and ever since, the xenia has not stretched all the way out, and the mussel that was close has rapidly pushed away from the location. Everything else in the tank seems to be acting fine, but the creatures close to where I glued.

The glue was Loctite control gel, as I have read that gel is much easier to use. Did I use the wrong type of super glue? Or, is this a normal reaction........as for the mussels I don't really expect an answer, I think I'm the only one who has live mussels in my tank.
