I have had this clam for about a month now and I have him placed on top of a small rock. The problem is that it continues to move off the rock onto the sandbed. Does anyone have any suggestions??

    Thanks

Let him go where he is happy. He'll be healthier that way. :) Something about the rock perch irritates him.

Thanks. From what I have read Crocea shouldn't be in the sandbed though.

Do you have enough light to support the clam if you decide to leave it on the sandbed? If you do, just slip a flat piece of rock or shell underneath it so that it has something to attach to.
