If you bought 2 from the same place they should have asked you if you were keeping them in the same tank and told you you could only have one. Call them and get a refund.

Am there...in farthest NW corner...very close to "Jackets" if you look at Canada Map...

Am fascintated by all the neat features offered by this forum. Is by far one of the best I have come accross yet! (not to mention very helpful (and thoughtful) members.

    Followup...

Clowns have "bonded"! --- Just as I had about given up hope, and was in process of finding new home for one of them.."behavior" suddenly changed.

Instead of staying at opposite ends of tank, they are spending all time together now. Much "rubbing" and fin "contact" between two. No agressive/violent behavior apparant between each other at all.

One will not "wander" about tank, unless in presence of other. If not, "he" (I think) always stays in one (always same) corner of tank alone.

    "NATURE ALWAYS PROVIDES A WAY"

There is "PEACE" in tank once again!

    Am soooo pleased! :)

    Rgds,

    OmarD

if the clowns were about the same size they might have been fighting for dominance. keep in mind all clowns are males and when one dominates another or a group that one becomes the female. maroons are supposed to be the hardes to pair up from what ive heard and percs the easist but if they are getting along now it should be ok. and if the female shuld die in a group the next dominate male becomes the female and so on
