I read that stringy white feces is a symptom of internal parasites. Does anybody know what I can do to treat this? I have two percula clownfish and they both have this problem, except one is eating and the other is not.

Does the fecal material have white lumps or is it totally white. Could the lumps be parasite eggs?

I had a Valentini puffer with stringy faeces with little white lumps and was advised to feed it more vegetable matter for a little while. I did feed it some lettuce, and voila, out it all came and seemed to help the fish overcome the problem.

Not saying it will help in your case though :-( but it could be something to try if all else fails.

yes it does have maybe one lump on the string....but I'll try feeding them more veggies and see if it helps. Thanks for the advice.
