    Eh, the 'holes' in your rock are only expansion(s) to his burrow.

    IMO holes are good...I drilled my LR so I could have all kinds or pod breeding areas...and it seems to be working! Mandarin in a 14g hasn't even gotten close to decimating pod population in a month.

    BTW, welcome to the mantis club! I will be joining as soon as my LFS can catch this little 3/4" guy in the seahorse/pipefish tank :/
