    are pistols good for a reef and can they be added to corals and other inverts.

    Sorry about the wait...

    We have what I think are Atlantic pistol shrimp. They came with the LR from Florida. They are mostly orange-reddish in color with blue legs and antennae. There are three pale tan stripes down their back from head to tail (one on top, and one on each side). The biggest one is about 2" long, and we just saw one that's <1". So far, they haven't been a problem with the corals, fish, or other inverts.

    so If i got a pistol shrimp it wouldn't harm any corals or inverts or fish. It would be safe. Is that only for the atlantic pistol shrimp or for all pistol shrimp.
